Raj Kapoor's Early life and His background


Born in a Punjabi Hindu family, Kapoor was born in the Haveli home of Peshawar, northwest of Peshawar, in the North West Frontier Province. He was the eldest of six children in the family. He was the grandson of Dewan Bashwar Narayan Kapoor and Dewan Keshabmal Kapoor, part of the famous Kapoor family. His brothers are late actors Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor. He also had a sister named Urmila Shil. Two more siblings died in childhood. Later he moved to Peshawar to study and teach in India. Her cousin Jugal Kishore Mehra was a singer whose granddaughter Salma Agha later became a Bollywood actress.

At the beginning of his career in the sixties, Prithviraj had to move from city to city, so the family had to move on. Raj Kapoor has taught at various schools like Corporal Brown Cambridge School, Dehradun and (St Xavier's Collegiate School), Kolkata and Mumbai.

At ten years of age, he appeared in Bollywood films on the grounds that, in 1935's Inquilab. In May 1946, Raj Kapoor married to Krishna Malhotra (1930-2018). Krishna was Prithviraj Kapoor's first cousin (his mother's king's daughter).  Death History Of Raj Kapoor
